The route of the charcoal burners The route of the Carbonaie is a ring-shaped educational trail that leads from Villa Simonelli to Villa and, continuing westwards, winds through the woods, cultivated fields and pastures to return to the country from the south. By car For those arriving from the A14: Take the “Civitanova Marche” exit and then the “SS 77” clearway, leave at Belforte del Chienti, and then continue towards San Ginesio. Go through the village of Belforte del Chienti and turn left at the crossroads for San Ginesio; after 4 km you will reach Camporotondo del Fiastrone, go past the town and turn left for San Ginesio. Turn left at the next crossroads for San Ginesio, after 800 metres you will see a sign on the right marked "Agriturismo l'Olmo di Casigliano". By train: From Civitanova Marche station, take the local train for Fabriano and get off at Tolentino station. From there, take the bus for San Ginesio and get off 3 km before you reach the town, when you see the sign indicating the holiday farm. By air: Falconara airport. From the airport, take the A14 motorway towards Pescara, leave at the “Civitanova Marche” exit and follow the directions given for those arriving from the A14.
